How to play
Tapzy challenges your reflexes and your memory at the same time. Each phase shows a target sequence of figures at the top; below, a board full of shapes where only some are part of that chain. Your mission is to tap them in the exact order, left to right, without skipping any and before the timer runs out.
You have 3 lives: a wrong tap —or running out of time— costs a life. Every correct tap adds points and builds your streak, and completing a phase gives you a bonus for the time left. The game does not end until you lose all three lives, so phases keep chaining endlessly and the challenge climbs step by step: longer sequences, more distractors and, in advanced modes, tiles that move or hide.
There are four different paces to choose from:
- Easy — 30 s per phase, 5×6 board, staying still. Ideal for memorizing calmly.
- Medium — 20 s per phase, 6×7 board and tiles swap positions from phase 6.
- Hard — 10 s per phase, 6×7, moving tiles and the sequence carousel hides after a few seconds (5 s → 3 s → 2 s). Pure memory.
- Tapzy Bonus — the arcade mode: tiles regenerate, every correct tap adds +2 s to the clock and special items appear.
What if you run out of lives? You can watch a rewarded ad to recover a life and continue the same run, or start over.
Tapzy Bonus special items
- 💣 Bomb: if you tap it by mistake you lose 1 life. It expires on its own after 5 taps.
- ⏱️ Pocket watch: adds +5 seconds to the timer.
- 🌟 Bonus Star: adds +1 use to your power-ups.
Power-ups
- ❄️ Freeze: stops the clock for 3 seconds so you can think.
- 🧲 Magnet: highlights the next figure you need to tap.
